Breaks and break meals are not a right (except if 14-15 years old), it is a privilege and may be revoked or changed at any given time.
Current Break Meal Calculation
- Budget for break meals is currently determined by our Overall Satisfaction (OSAT) score found through Customer Evaluation Monitor (CEM) Surveys
- The full budget is contingent on maintaining a chain average score
- If the OSAT score falls below chain average, the break budget amount will lower (please see full policy below for chart)
Quick Break Rules (read full policy below for all info)
- Break food is to be taken at once during break only, not split between the shift
- Prohibited break items – All desserts, iced & frosted drinks, bottled water, and lemonade.
- Your cup for your break is your cup for the day. Extra drinks are 50% off menu price
Additional Info:
- You must work a 6 hour shift to receive a 30-minute break (unless you are 14-15). If your shift is less than 6 hours, you may come in early before your shift to eat
- You must clock out first before ordering your break food
- Leaders are expected to jump up if a rush occurs
